Gas filter FGM A2B2E2K2P3 R D is distinguished by its light weight and high reliability thanks to a thermoplastic shock-resistant polymer housing. The standard threaded connection (Rd 40×1/7” (DSTU EN 148-1:2004)) enables easy, reliable, and tight attachment of the filter to the mask, ensuring it cannot be installed incorrectly.
The large internal volume of the gas filter allows for long-term use, and its low breathing resistance makes it comfortable.
Gas filters are intended to protect the respiratory system from the harmful effects of organic gases and vapors with a boiling point > 65 °C, simple inorganic gases and vapors, sulfur dioxide and other acidic gases and vapors, ammonia and organic ammonia derivatives, as well as from solid and liquid radioactive toxic particles and microorganisms (e.g., dust, fumes, mists, oil mists, bacteria, viruses, spores, and enzymes).
The filter’s housing offers low weight and high durability due to the thermoplastic shock-resistant polymer. The FGM housing also has excellent dielectric properties. The filter is easily and reliably attached to the mask.
Layers of polyester material are ultrasonically welded to the fasteners, preventing any leakage of activated carbon. The soot filter element is made of polyester.
Highly efficient impregnated coconut-based carbon is used from leading global manufacturers.
An anti-aerosol filter with a P3 protection class can protect up to 50 MPC (Maximum Permissible Concentration).
Each filter is hermetically sealed in polyethylene with instructions, preventing the entry of air or moisture inside.
The FGS gas filter is used when the volumetric oxygen content in the work area is at least 17% and when the origin and concentration of harmful substances in the work area air are known. The filter is also used in a potentially non-explosive atmosphere. If the FGM A2B2E2K2P3 R D is used against radioactive dust, it is recommended to replace the filter after each shift.
A2 (brown color) – Class 2 protection against organic gases and vapors with a boiling point > 65°C.
B2 (gray color) – Class 2 protection against inorganic gases and vapors.
E2 (yellow color) – Class 2 protection against sulfur dioxide and other acidic gases and vapors.
K2 (green color) – Class 2 protection against ammonia and organic ammonia derivatives.
P3 (white color) – Class 3 protection against radioactive and microbiological aerosols at nuclear power plants and in radiochemical production.
D – the filter has passed dolomite dust testing and can be used in heavily dust-laden environments.
R – the filter is reusable.
The gas filter fully meets the requirements of DSTU EN 14387:2017. FGM filters with the A2B2E2K2P3 R D marking should be used only against those harmful substances for which the filter type and its color coding are intended.
It is recommended to store the filters in their original sealed packaging in a clean area at temperatures from -20°C to +50°C and a relative humidity of up to 80%.
