Mating class. The lower the knitting class, the thicker and rougher the glove will be. Products with a high class of knitting (13,15) have high strength, wear resistance and, at the same time, are very thin. These gloves are suitable even for high-precision work.
The number of threads. It also determines the density and strength of the product.
Base material. Protective gloves can be made from:
- Synthetic yarn (has high strength, wear resistance, does not absorb moisture)
- Cotton yarn (has high hygroscopic properties, does not cause skin irritation and allergic reactions, does not accumulate static electricity, allows the skin to "breathe").
- Blended yarn (depending on the percentage, the fiber takes on the properties of cotton and synthetics).
Coating type:
- PVC (polyvinyl chloride) - the most common type of coating. Possesses protective properties against mechanical damage.
- Latex - provides protection against many chemically active substances and liquids.
- Nitrile - provides a high degree of protection against mechanical damage. Resistant to oils, fats, silicates and acids.
- Polyurethane - has high elasticity and increased sensitivity. Gloves with polyurethane coating are resistant to punctures and tears, oils and fats derived from hydrocarbons.
