About the history of gloves
Gloves to protect hands from cold, injuries and pollution appeared in Ancient Egypt, several thousand years BC. Already at that time gloves were worn practical workers wore all brush canvas bags, without finger holes, which is fastened on the wrist when engaged in physical labor. In the modern sense such protection were primitive, but these gloves helped to protect the hands from minor cuts and abrasions, and could help to avoid a snake bite or Scorpion.

One of the most ancient gloves was found by archaeologists during excavations of the tomb of Tutankhamun. Historians believe that gloves came to Pharaoh, among other trophies of the conquered Asian peoples and was used more as decoration and not as a staple.
In the middle Ages gloves were an important part of the wardrobe. Many resembled mittens: gloves of soldiers, made of chain mail rings or lined with metal plates, saved from the glancing blows of swords. But noblemen wore gloves with all the fingers. Gloves decorated with embroidery and precious stones. In the late middle Ages, gloves have become a symbol of power. "In the name of Royal gloves" to administer justice. The gloves were given to the knights at the dedication, the bishops at the accession to the rank of citizens — as the sign granted them privileges. The judges have started to work, only wearing a glove. At different times gloves were again in Vogue thanks to such famous people as Catherine de Medici, Queen Elizabeth I, Napoleon, Nicholas I, Sarah Bernhardt, Vivien Leigh, Audrey Hepburn, Marilyn Monroe.
Now there are a variety of gloves of different types of destination. For example, work gloves, medical gloves, massage, Boxing, baseball, Billiards, motorcyclists, cyclists, car, etc. But the most interesting feature is intended to fulfill the French invention of "smart gloves": they allow the touch to determine the ripeness of the fruit. Thanks to in-built sensors, the glove may give the owner a lot of useful information (the size of fruit, content of sugar and other chemicals, impact resistance, etc.).
